We had an overwhelming response to last year’s Halloween Costume Drive, so we are partnering with North Hills Community Outreach again this year to collect new or gently used Halloween costumes for kids in the community. Get into the spooky spirit early by finding the perfect costume for a child in need - everything from scary to sweet will be accepted!

Drop off your new or gently used Halloween costumes between September 2st and October 4th at one of our Distinct Offices:

Free Paper Shredding Event

Have you been cleaning out your old paperwork? Dispose of your personal documents safely and securely at my *free* paper shredding event on Saturday, September 7 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Heights Plaza in Natrona Heights!

Each car can shred up to two bankers boxes of paper (for reference a bankers box is about the size of a microwave). Please remove all metal fasteners other than staples before the event!

Shredding will be performed on site. Bags and boxes will be returned to the car after they are emptied.

5th Annual Community Baby Shower

Senator Lindsey Williams is hosting her 5th annual Community Baby Shower on September 28th from 4pm-6pm at Sheldon Community Park, 480 Park Avenue, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.

The Community Baby Shower is a resource fair for parents, grandparents, foster/kinship families, guardians, or anyone looking to start a family. Some of the organizations attending this year include UPMC Children’s Injury Prevention, Trying Together, Allegheny Family Network, Achieva Early Intervention, Alle-Kiski Area Hope Center, and many more. Free License Plate Replacement Event

Rep. Lindsay Powell and Rep. Emily Kinkead are holding a free event where officers will determine if a license plate is unreadable, and their teams will help drivers apply for a FREE replacement plate through PennDOT.

NOTE – NEW PLATES ARE NOT ISSUED AT THIS EVENT.  ONCE YOUR PAPERWORK IS PROCESSED, THE APPROPRIATE TEAM WILL CALL YOU TO PICK UP YOUR NEW PLATE AT THEIR RESPECTIVE DISTRICT OFFICE.

Bring your unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and current vehicle registration card.

While pre-registration is not required, it is highly encouraged.
