Pizza, Puzzles, and Power to the People

April 7 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Pizza, Puzzles, and Power to the People

Thank you again for writing to me about your concerns about ICE. I share those concerns and have been thinking about ways for my office to create opportunities to put these feelings into action. So I’m excited to invite you to a Puzzles, Pizza, and Power to the People event at the East Liberty Carnegie Library on April 7 from 5-7 PM.

The purpose of this event is to bring community members together to learn more about their own rights while interacting with federal ICE agents and to create an opportunity to solve problems together with others over a meal. My goal for this event is for everyone to leave having learned something and to feel stronger and more hopeful after being in community with others.

If you feel inclined, please share this invite with others who you think could benefit from attending. If you’re able to attend, please feel free to email me back so we have an accurate headcount for dinner. I thank you again for reaching out to me and making your voice heard and I hope to see you on April 7th.
