Internships

Interning for a state senator is an excellent way to learn about the legislative process, state policy and constituent issues. State Senator Lindsey Williams is committed to providing interns with a positive educational experience. As part of our operations, we offer internship programs throughout the year at our District Offices.

• Positions open to College Juniors and Seniors in the following degree fields: Political Science, Business Management, Communications/Media Relations, Journalism, Community Relations or any other relevant fields.
• Part-time positions are available (start/end dates flexible based on academic schedules):
  • August through December
  • January through May
  • May through August
• Office hours are from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm with some evening and weekend hours expected.
• Paid position, $15/hour.
