Gastos

Legislative expenses are taxpayer dollars, and the public has a right to know how that money is being spent. That’s why I don’t take a per diem or drive a state vehicle. I post monthly full expense reports for myself and my staff members on this page, reflecting all funds that have been spent that I have the ability to authorize. The only redactions on these reports will be personal information such as bank account information or the home addresses of my staff. However, my office incurs other expenses that I am unable to fully account for through this process because they come from other pots of money that I do not have access to. To address this, I have introduced legislation that would require the Offices of the Chief Clerk of both the Pennsylvania House and Senate to post all expenses of all legislators on a public facing website in a searchable format. Per diems, state vehicle usage, and reimbursements for expenses would be included on the website. The legislation will also require that all office, travel, and other expenses that come out of both legislators’ and caucus’ operating accounts be included on the website.

Members of the press or individuals are welcome to call my office at 412-364-0469 for additional information on any expense report.

A searchable spreadsheet with this information can be found here. This spreadsheet will be updated regularly going forward. Please note that we update this spreadsheet as expenses are incurred, while the PDFs below reflect payments as they are made through the LFS system.
