SNAP BENEFITS HALTED IN PA

Because of the federal government shutdown, SNAP payments (also known as food stamps) will not be paid in November.

SNAP benefits will not be paid until the shutdown ends and $366 million in federal funds are released to Pennsylvania.

The state plans to notify SNAP recipients when payments can resume and will let people know when to expect SNAP payments.
